5 years and finally making a purchase

I've been a member here for approx 5 years, and therefore spent the last 5 years dreaming about owning a rep submariner.

We've just bought our first house and there's a million other things to spend money on, but for simplicity and something I can wear regularly I've decided I'm going to make the purchase on a Oyster Perpetual...

Usually it seems like the swiss (non rolex) clone movements are cheaper, and I don't mind this because I guess I can swap it out for a genuine swiss - such as the 2824 movement for ultra reliability??

If any ya'll would be so kind to fire final recommendations this way that would be greatly appreciated. Looking to spend under 300 USD

Also - how do I buy a sub to this website to avoid the ads? haha

Just talk to them on whatsapp/email. Most TD websites are not well updated outside of the few.

You can use people's websites to browse catalogue and then ask individual TD about pricing.

In general all TD can source the same watch.

Ask around and see what the price people offer for your targeted watch is.

Since you're semi new, read the guide linked in my signature.
