Greetings,
Before I begin, I would like to state that I have had a long-standing relationship with Andrew and TrustyTime spanning over 5 years and the purchase of 14 replica watches.
I joined the replica world in 2020……. the absolute worst year to start replicas as a hobby due to COVID-19 (more on that later). Like many, I began with some simple “Google” searches which led me to various websites (non-trusted). From these, I made my first two purchases. Although cosmetically they were satisfactory, their functionality left something to be desired. So I kept digging and came across the RWI Forum website. I kept seeing mentions of Andrew and TrustyTime in several posts, so I went to their site and was impressed by the layout and selection. I decided to take a chance. After all, he was listed as a “Trusted Dealer”. TrustyTime has been the only TD that I have used since. Not that there aren’t other worthy vendors……. but when I find something that’s works, I have a tendency to stick with it…such is the case.
Our initial transactions were frustrating to say the least. As I mentioned earlier, we were on the doorstep of the pandemic (2020). The reduction in the labor force created delays in manufacturing and the logistical process of getting something from overseas (I’m in the US) was slowly becoming non-existent. The extended wait times (6 -12 months) to receive your purchases was a great source of tension between buyer and seller as many of the posts from that period will reflect. Pair that fact that your dealing with a new hobbyist who was already impatient, distrustful, and skeptical about the whole process……my relationship with TrustyTime was quickly becoming “strained”. However, for better or worse, Andrew continued to keep me informed, assuring me that he was doing everything within his power to ensure orders were being fulfilled. Looking back, it wasn’t anyone’s fault. It was just a bad time to be buying replicas. In the end, Andrew prevailed, I got my watches, and he got my trust and business (also a public and private apology) …he earned it! From this point forward, I was committed to placing my orders, and let Andrew handle the rest……..no stress, no impatience, no frustration. I learned to turn it over to him.
So now, let’s fast forward to my most recent purchase. I recently ordered a Panerai PAM960 Carbotech Submersible 42mm and a Rolex Blaken Submariner Red (pictures attached). Here is the timeline:
1/4/2025 – Order Submitted (2 watches).
1/10/2025 – 1st set of QC pictures sent.
1/10/2025 – 1st set of QC pictures approved.
1/12/20-25 – 2nd set of QC pictures sent.
1/12/2025 – 2nd set of QC pictures approved
1/16/2025 – Shipping label created by TrustyTime.
1/22/2025 – Watches delivered.
That’s light speed by current processing standards and warp speed during the COVID era. Both watches arrived well-packaged, in excellent condition, and appear to functioning correctly.
As always, Andrew communicated with me frequently, keeping me informed on every step of the process. Overall, it was an excellent transaction.
TrustyTime isn’t the only TD out there……. but if you're looking for a dealer whose customer services have been praised over and over again (read the reviews/posts), Andrew might just be your guy. You won't be disappointed!
