Alright, I own a few 44mm PAMs and am looking to mix it up a bit. What I really want is:

http://www.pure-time.com/product/pam389-o-v6f-11-best-edition-on-black-rubber-strap-p9000a/

I've got my finger on the trigger, and like any obsessive, I am googling pictures and doing my homework. Pretty sure my wrist can hold this size...but my real question is what wrist are you supposed to wear these on?

When googling 47mm Pam's, pictures yield people wearing them on both arms regardless of configuration.

So regarding the 47mm Pam's, if the crown is on the left...should it be worn on the left arm? And conversely, if the crown is on the right, should it be worn on the right arm?

Or is this personal preference? I am not a diver, but I am thinking that the left on left, right on right configuration is the correct answer due to the crown size and wearing a suit while diving. If that's the case, wearing a right configured watch on the left arm may seem a bit pretentious...

Any and all help is much appreciated.

Most would wear watches with crown on right at left wrist. Reaching crown for winding or time setting is quite hard otherwise when on wrist. Which wrist you choose is ONLY about your preference and what feels comfortable. There is no wright or wrong.

i wear my destro's on my left arm (im right handed). i don't adjust watch when it's on my wrist regardless of where the crown is. for destro it is 100% more comfortable on left hand as crown guard is away from wrist joint

A PAM destro is made to be worn on the left, the idea is to keep the crown away from your wrist joint. I have a 6.5" wrist and wear a 47mm Ok as long as it's on a strap and not a bracelet.

I do have a 50mm diver that must be worn on the right due to the crown guard. (I am right handed). I prefer to wear on the left, so the crown guard preventing wrist movement is definitely a concern. Looks like this may not be the watch for me, thanks guys...great feedback!
