Beautiful watch, flyr. Great catch. In all earnestness (flyr and gang): WHAT makes this a UPO, as opposed to a regular SMP? Search function wasn't too helpful... .

I bought this back aways and at that time they were coming out with various 42mm versions V3-4-5. I think when this 45.5 came out with a (swiss?) movement it was called the UPO . Probably a marketing strategy. I don't know , but it is the most accurate timekeeping mech. rep I own.

UPO = "Ultimate" Planet Ocean. Seamaster Professional Planet Ocean is the full model name for the genuine. This style of Seamaster is pictured in the first post.

SMP = Seamaster Professional:

Just a different style of the Seamaster range, different bezel and insert, different markers, dial, hands, bracelet, etc. Also, the genuine SMP is rated for 300M and the PO is rated for 600M depths.
