Morning all,

Im after a good PAM rep but dont want to go above the 42mm, can anyone recommend a few decent reps that are of a smaller size?

Some 42mm I think are teh 512, 338, 337, 065 and 336 but cant seem to find anything other than the 512 out there thats been rep'd.

Any help appreciated. Thanks

574 is my current choice also. I think i will enjoy it on a dark grey strap with pale green stitches till
i decide how i like to mod it :B:

i bought the PAM688 last month and the watch is well made except the sunburst effect on the dial is (almost) non-existent

Sunburst? can you define what you mean with a photo?

One question regarding the sunburst effect on the PAM688: When watching this youtube-video, it doesn't seem like the sunburst effect is very clear on the gen either: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXuazM2qnnU

Are we expecting too much, or is it even less sunburst effect than this on the rep?

I 'm feeling like i 'm missing something with that sunburst on 688
I can't see anything even close to sunburst on both GEN and REP.

I can see that gen has homocentric "beams" formation on it's dial that look exactly
the same with those that a milling machine can produce when we level a metal surface.

That gives a light effect of opposite triangles of "lighten" colour that produced randomly (360º)
depending on the light angle and strength - focus of lighting source.
(same as many small dials on chronographs)

A sunburst that we found on modded dial is far away as an effect.
Looks like a solar flare that hits the center of dial, mostly not precisely centred to produce
the realistic effect of a dial that has sunburst from a random focusing of sunlight through a thick doomed crystal or plexi.

If you find any kind of photo that a sunburst like the one you describe looks good, please post it.

Im quite enjoying the 1523 and 1392. The thinner case makes for a nicer 42mm

I have the kw Pam 1392 42mm which is supposed to be 15.6mm thick. Slightly less than the standard 17/18mm thickness pams. But because of its stubby shorter size, it actually still looks thicker in comparison to a 47mm Pam!
