I've had issues in the past with both the nickle and gold 2836/2824 movements. Wouldn't make a purchased based on that face alone.

Double check other sites. This is the latest 42mm PO and the Nickel plated movement is supposed to be the genuine ETA movement. The gold version is the asian ETA clone if I'm not mistaken.

Can you recommend any sites/sellers etc? Still kinda new and getting to know the ropes of the hobby. Thanks!

I've ordered the 42mm from Replicamake with the nickel plated 2824. Lay assured me that the movement is Swiss and that it is not refurbished in any way. This is my first purchase with Lay. In lieu of his popularity here AND his current probation, I'm thinking it's going to be a good one. QC pics and video are good. Just have to wait and see.

Currently, the "Swiss" 2824 is the nickel plated and the Asian 2824 is the gold. It's $50 more for the Swiss. I believe that is true for every trusted dealer that offers this version of the 42mm PO.

Plastic movement holder and no anti magnet cover, but silver was for sure at least available if not standard
