42mm EXPLORER II FANS...CHANGES ARE BEING MADE

The hands being too small on these new reps has been mentioned. And it seems changes are being made.
Though I don't see the Black version offered yet.

Still the GMT hand seems to be of a different color as the Explorer text, though. And I'd wish they wouldn't mess with the movement. 358$ ... whoa

$358 is what one would expect to pay BK for such a claim.

I sure hope that the new superlume is going to be added to ALL new releases from now on. IMO, crappy lume was always the easiest tell of a rep.

That would be a nice improvement...it seems most of the newer 16570 and recent 216570 Exp.II's have the SL.

Some models do seem to be edging up in price...but comming SL'd the way they're starting to is going to command a premium price. It's likely some dealers know what sending a watch off to a modder for a SL job will cost. I'd be curious to know whether the factories SL job is as good as having it sent off to a modder to have done.

I hear ya, but the quality does go up as well. It needs much less mods so maybe it evens out.

Hopefully we can see a price drop as they start mass producing them. I would love to see the SLed black dial.

Man, I'm aching for one of these watches! I LOVE the look of the new Explorer II watches, but I can cant find one that has a nice white face. All the reps i've seen online see to have a white / off-white face with wierd greyish / off-white lume.

I think they have done a poor job with the rehaut, markings quite wrong placed/to big/wrong shape.

I´ll certainly wait until an update will get out.
