417 bead blasted

Picked up a 417 from toro. Figured try out the bead blaster on it. Think it came out good. Something different than my typical polished and brushed. Teamed up with a black canvas with sewn in buckle from Jose Maria.

What do you recommend? Rather a smoother look. This was a first try for me.

I wouldn't really know, I don't have such machine. I just heard of that.

I also heard that smaller beads result to smaller "pits" and thus a smoother finish. But better to research on the subject.

That was blasted with 80 grit equivalent media. Just ordered some very fine media 170-320 grit. Should smooth it out. I’ll post some pics when it’s done.

We have a sand blaster at work and it didn't occur to me there were different grit. Good to know.
