I'm looking for a 4130 movement holder, but my google-fu isn't turning up anything. I've seen a few modders here who have them (e.g. oascom and watchservicesny ). But since Google doesn't give me any good results, I'm wondering if the 4130 movement fits in a Zenith 4030 movement holder, e.g. something like this:

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003942498013.html

Or maybe a 4130 movement would fit in a 7750 movement holder?

Or are the geometry differences between the Zenith 4030, ETA 7750, and Rolex 4130 substantial enough that I need to keep searching for a specific movement holder?

Also, I saw that this question was asked in one of WatchServiceNY's threads, but the answer was "RSC" and I'm not smart enough to figure out what that means... I even tried Googling "RSC 4130 movement holder" but found nothing.

Cheapest will be 4040....

Another option is startime if you find it in stock is around 500$

Rolex holder is in the 800$ range.

Rsc means Rolex service center

Thanks so much for the quick reply. I'm feeling a little bit silly for not thinking the R in RSC was "rolex"... But good to know that there's basically no option between $50 and $500 for a 4130 movement holder.

And I think I've answered my own question about the 7750 movement holder being a possible alternative. The 7750 movement is 30.0mm in diameter whereas the 4130 is 30.5mm, so I'm guessing a dedicated 7750 movement holder would be too small for the 4130. Similarly the Zenith 4030 movement is 30.0mm in diameter, so a dedicated 4030 movement holder would also probably be too tight for the 4130.

I’ve found a somewhat inexpensive solution: there’s a movement holder on AliExpress for the Zenith 4030 movement that sells for around C$145. The Zenith 4030 is the same diameter as the Rolex 4130, and the 4130 is based on the 4030 design. I decided it was worth the risk and ordered the holder. Lo and behold the movement fits. The pushers aren’t in exactly the right position, but are still able to connect with the movement actuators.

Exactly what I use, pretty well made also. You are right about the pushers not being perfectly aligned but they do work on the 4130 movement

The 4030 holder is your best option if you do not have access to the RSC Holder. And as pat mentioned, they are very pricey....I splurged and got the RSC holders and won't look back!
