3rd Purchase From Hont; Ghosted. Refund Pending for 2 weeks, After Purchasing a Watch 8 Weeks Ago

Hi,

I got into reps 6 months ago and since then I've made a number of purchases from several TDs and have a good idea how it all works.

When there are delays, I do not throw a fit and wait patiently. I might follow up but I chalk it up to the factory and not the TD.

Let me start by saying this is my 3rd purchase from Hont and prior to this, I have had no issues with him. I know that he's not the best communicator and I've learned that he is best communicated with in small, direct sentences. I've also learned that he often responds to messages from oldest to newest so I try not to follow up too often to keep my messages in sequence. However, this time it cannot be avoided.


The Situation:

• On May 20th, I purchased a Clean Factory YachMaster from Hont for $528 USD.
• He told me Clean would be slow and VSF would be faster but since Clean has better gold, I was okay with the wait.
• Due to the raids, things slowed down which was expected so I continued to wait patiently with a few follow ups.
• About a month ago, Hont told me Clean was back and would ask again.
• On July 5th, I followed up again and Hont told me the watch was NOW out of stock.
• After waiting patiently for 6 weeks, i decided it would just be easier to ask for a refund; Hont agreed.
• He asked for my account information so that he could wire the funds to me, so I provided it. That was on July 5th.
• Since then, I have not received one response from him. Even after following up a few times.

I know that Hont is a TD but now that he has become unresponsive, I'm not sure what to do so I don't loose my money. I can see that he's still doing QCs so it seems like he's just not responding to me which is really frustrating me.

I'm sorry that this happens to be my first post here but I've been a lurker for quite some time.

Does anyone know what steps can be taken next to get my money back from this TD? Any information or advice would be appreciated.

Think you got to open a ticket or something reading a few post when people have had problems and then i think the mods will talk to him for you.
Not sure how to open one thou and maybe a quick search will tell you how.
Quick message to a mod will prob be good to find out.

oh it on the top of the page under help desk and you open and contact them that way.

Reading a few of these negative Hontwatch experiences but he's always come through for me eventually - Go with the support ticket option as suggested above and you should be able to resolve this without issue.

Reading a few of these negative Hontwatch experiences but he's always come through for me eventually - Go with the support ticket option as suggested above and you should be able to resolve this without issue.

My last 2 experiences were nothing like this. He was slow to respond (maybe a few days max) but nothing like this. As you said, he always came through at the end.

It's just weird that he was responding to me up until the point that he agreed to refund me the associated fees as well.

I haven't posted on the site before and unfortunately my first is for this.

I joined a while back (maybe March?) when I was learning the ins and outs of the game and reading reviews.

I was thinking about doing a review or so soon since I've owned a few reps for a few months but I'm not as knowledgeable as some of ones I've seen .

Hont finally reached back out and resolved the matter. The purchase was refunded and I can now consider this matter closed after 8 weeks.

Again, I have nothing against him as he has been one of my preferred TDs overall (once you accept that patience is required) but was just really concerned when I didn't hear back from him for over 2 weeks.
