Well, so long as you don't call it a Louis Tank .... because it is all sorts of wrong for a Louis Tank

Tank Louis has no date for starters. It is approximately 33mm x 27mm in size (guessing this is bigger since it has a legible date window), typically made of yellow gold with the occasional platinum model and never has a flat white dial.....so yeah, I would say all sorts of wrong for a Tank Louis

I'm a HUGE Cartier fan, but sadly, Cartier watches do not seem to get the attention of the rep industry other watches get.
I"m hard pressed to find ANY Cartier replica that is hard to tell apart from a GEN.

The old school Santos 100 XL is superb and can be frankened to basically be genstein, especially if you drop a Cartier 049 movement into it. The new Santos can also be frankened similarly, but the 1847MC movement is harder to come by, although an ETA2892 is a compatible direct swap

I can actually get a GEN Santos 100XL for about $2K. The problem with that is that I have an 8-1/4 inch wrist so I need to always have a strap custom made and Cartier uses this proprietary lug thingi which I can't get aftermarket.

Looking at the large Santos Dumont now. I like that watch . . .

Here is a teaser then...

If you can a gen Santos 100 XL for $2k then it would be incredibly stupid to try to franken one. But there are a lot of standard strap options for the Santos 100. It's the new Saantos that has a proprietary quick change system and Delugs makes an aftermarket option for that as well

Gen Cartiers (quartz…) start at 4,500 (USD), so why wear a Rep? (There are just too many of them out there for decades to be “exclusive.”)
Many people electing to wear a Rep select watches that are 25,000 USD to 200,000 USD for the Gen versions.
Brands like AP change the face from time-to-time attempting to limit numbers and create exclusively.
