Took BMW's advice and got a better strap!
Vintage cracked leather from Arron at HK Tan Straps.









This is the ZF version, I have modded the CG myself. Happy with the results

I was wondering that very thing. In some photo's iv seen it looks like the op's strap but others it looks as if it may be a different piece of leather. I prefer to see the beautiful brown color coming thru. The op's also looks like the thread has been dyed which i also like.
