Hi, I suppose it does not have AR. Try this simple method: just put/rubb toothpaste with a finger on the dial and let it dry completely (1 hour or more) - than polish off with a microfiber cloth, it should do the trick (almost same as the bought product).

If the tootpaste trick doesn't work, try polywatch

Guys, I seem to have achieved the impossible... I've managed to scratch my PAM005 sapphire crystal!
I banged it accidentally on the side of a table today and was just concerned for the SS, but that survived fine.
Yet the crystal has a 2mm scratch at 11:30 now! It's not a chip or a crack, it's an everyday scratch.
I'm in shock. Is this even possible?!

It´s possible, let me guess, You have a hardwood floor in Your house and the floor sander recently refinished it:)
Solution: Silicon carbide is used in sandpaper, it will leave a very fine dust (also in walls and paint) and scratch sapphire glass if in touch.
Take 2: If You just try hard enough, You can destroy anything...

what kind of table was it? ceramic tiles and brick will scratch sapphire crystal. It's tough to get out. You can use a dremel and diamond polish but it's still tough to get out.

That was exactly my reaction!! As far as I can remember it was a steel table, so unless it was painted with some silicone carbide paint, I'm questioning the validity of this 'sapphire' crystal. Do you think a TD would be so bold as to flog us a mineral crystal?!

Not sure about that. Hope you find a solution. If it scratched that easily, perhaps it will be easy to polish it out.

Just for the record, I took the watch to my local watch smith (not AD of course) and he polished the plexiglass leaving it perfect.

Thanks for the suggestions

Polywatch brought my heavily scratched 372 crystal back to better than brand new condition. Just be prepared to put in some time and always rub in a circular patter. Good luck!
