If the tootpaste trick doesn't work, try polywatch
It´s possible, let me guess, You have a hardwood floor in Your house and the floor sander recently refinished itGuys, I seem to have achieved the impossible... I've managed to scratch my PAM005 sapphire crystal!
I banged it accidentally on the side of a table today and was just concerned for the SS, but that survived fine.
Yet the crystal has a 2mm scratch at 11:30 now! It's not a chip or a crack, it's an everyday scratch.
I'm in shock. Is this even possible?!
That was exactly my reaction!! As far as I can remember it was a steel table, so unless it was painted with some silicone carbide paint, I'm questioning the validity of this 'sapphire' crystal. Do you think a TD would be so bold as to flog us a mineral crystal?!what kind of table was it? ceramic tiles and brick will scratch sapphire crystal. It's tough to get out. You can use a dremel and diamond polish but it's still tough to get out.
