367 vs. 456 pictorial

Hi guys,

Just received my 456 via M2M.
Bought it to see how it compares to my 367.
I feel that the 367 has a couple of differences compared to the 456.
The lume on the 367 is a bit more beige/yellowish and the weighting on the dial is just a tad thinner.
The CG of the 456 is not fully flush on the case. But if I'm honest the 367 isn't as well but is closer to the case than the 456.
I like the pig but I'd probably prefer the pigless dial.

I also noticed that the top part of the "6" on the 367 is more curved downwards at the end where the 456 it's longer and more flat.
Same goes for the "2" in the 12.
Looks like different Fonds are being used.
Looking at pictures of gens this is the case there as well.

Overall both are very nice watches but they are so alike that I'll probably end up selling the 456 as the 367 has been with me for quite some time now.

The PAM367 is a special limited edition of 500 released in 2010 specifically for the Hongkong and China market (essentially it's the "Fu" version without the special character), while the PAM456 is part of Officine Panerai's Boutique Edition line which was initially released in 2012 (the PAM456 was meant for the Saudi Arabia boutique). Just the difference in years can possibly explain the difference in the lume or font used by both watches.

Boutique only editions are not found on the website.

Because they're special editions you have to check a list of special editions for that specific year.

Not to sound like a smart ass, but the 390 pulls up in the search bar under "Find Your Panerai" along with other special editions such as the 339, 375, 376 to name a few.

It's not a big deal, but do you guys have an idea why boutiques arent featured but other special editions are?

I still wonder why none of the boutique editions are searchable on Panerai's website though

I would chalk it up to poor website design. The boutique editions can be found on the Panerai website.
