it all depends on how you carry yourself off.

many people can wear the old pams.

i was wearing my 202a and the bartender noticed and said, "is that a panerai?"

I showed him...

He nodded and proceeded to say, "I am thinking of getting a U-Boat"

.... I am a 25 year old asian dude at an irish pub... why the **** would I be wearing one of the most rarest PAMs wasted off my ass? It's a $70,000 to a $100,000 watch. Did he know that? No... to him it was probably a $5,000 PAM.

Moral of the story. Wear any PAM you want cause most people have no clue what model you are wearing anyways.

Out of all my watches.. the PAMs get the most compliments. My boss (who has no clue what Panerai is) said, "I really like you watch"... I laughed and said, "I got it over 90% off the retail price". (more like 99% though) :lol:

Ironically, I have never been complimented on any of my rollies nor has anybody ever noticed.

True to what the other blokes here are saying..but as long as you do not wear it into any AD, i think it's really on the individual and how you 'carry' yourself..
