3135 - 3235 Movement Swap?

Hello Wise and Knowledgeable Rolex Rep Aficionados !!

Does anyone know or has anyone tried doing a 3135 Movement Swap to a 3235?

Are you talking gen or reps? For what I read, both movements have the same diameter (28.5 mm) but not sure about thickness. So they should be interchangeble assuming same size.

Regarding reps, I think there is only one now...the SA3235 from GMF, I have stayed away from it. Let us know if you find something better. Maybe the forthcoming ZF DJ41 has a rep 3235 (VR) :wink:

I have been eyeing the ZF DJ41 has a rep 3235 (VR) and am waiting for one to come on the market here. I have the intention of modding it to have a blue arabic dial like this:

Now Im wondering if the hands are also compatible?

Working on something similar.

That supposed clone 3235 is nowhere near a true clone it’s not like the gen 3235. Plus is very unreliable.

On this build I used a gen 3136 date plate on a sh3135 movement with a gen datewheel.

Still a work in progress.

Beautiful! this is what I am attempting to do. Looks like I'm going to be on the hunt for a VRF3135.

Are you using Gen hands too?

Guys, I was reading somewhere that SA3235 by GMF is actually a base SA3135 with different decoration. When you try to set up the time on the SA3235 the hands move in the same direction as SA3135.

I would say that for now does not exist a real clone of 3235
