312 Mod list - what to do

Hi everyone,

Wanting to get my 312 modded for closer accuracy to the gen and to utilize it to its fullest.
I am located in southern california and do not want to ship it out of state.
Preferably keep it local if possible.

I want to waterproof it so I can tell time in the shower
I want to have the datewheel adjusted so I don't have to center it every morning and I want the date to flip at 12 and not start turning 1130ish.

Can anybody refer me to anyone local? How much should I expect to pay for this and what the hell am I going to do with the display case!!
If I am called out, I wouldn't deny that this is a rep but I don't want it to be so damn obvious when u flip the watch over..

Thought about getting a decima mas decal to place so you have that nice italian navy shield covering part of the movement...

Itd be nice if the factories produced a top plate to go below the rotor to further disguise the reps. Hahaha

Date flipping at 00.00 hrs is never going to happen.
My gen PAM 104 started at 23.55 and went fully over at 00.00 exactly.
Just saying....

If you're that worried about accuracy then the 312 was the wrong watch to pick. Something with a closed case back would have many fewer tells. Instead of spending a few hundred modding something with the wrong movement buy a 005 or something similar. Or, just get it waterproofed and be happy with what you got! It's a pretty nice rep as-is.

The 312 is quite good as far as Reps go. In fact, on the wrist its very close to Gen. I have a V2 and the lume is like a torch and lasts for hours. Just dont show anyone the case back get it WP and you'll be fine wear it well.

It will never be accurate to the gen because of that display caseback. As what others have stated, enjoy the 312 (I hope it's a V2) and spend the modding money on a super rep with a closed caseback like the PAM243 V2 (if you like the 1950s case which is what the 312 uses).

With this issue, I just sold a rep br03 that flipped right at 12
That's the only reason why I'm even wanting this.
I am starting to nine this s factually a defect that worked towards its own advantage but something about the date turning fit at 12 that just represents quality...rep or gen

As for the caseback....
Must swap out every 312 in the world with a 7750 to do mine justice!!!!
