312 date change

Could anyone advise me if my 312 r vsf is working as it should, I had to change the date in reverse so turned the hour hand anti clockwise till it was set correctly but since then I’ve noticed the date starts to turn from 1030. Thing is I remember it turned at 12 before I had to change. Am I remembering it wrong .. thanks for your help

Erm I don't really get it, you want to change the date backward or to a later date?? The date starts to change from 10.30 I think it's normal...

Scrap that idea .... I’ve realised I should’ve just continued turning the hour hand clockwise obviously till I reach desired date ... feel so stupid but I’m not used to having only 2 settings on the crown and not a 3rd just for the date wheel like on all 12 of my genuine Rolex, Breitling, Cartier or Mont Blanc watches I’ve been fortunate to own in the past
