300M on casebacks...

this is a repost fom someone on RWG1....just looked at the back of my BCE and it does say this...


"So many otherwise awesome looking reps all say "300 M" regardless of what the dial says or what the actual model says...why is this, across all price points and various models...nobody wants to correct this?

Is keeping me from nabbing so many lovely reps"

Well, gotta disagree with that. So many may not be appropriate here. One replica that have this flaw is Breitling Avenger Seawolf, it should have 3000 not 300. It's correct on Chronomat(300), Steelfish Superocean (2000) and 30m/3 bar on Navitimer.

Thanks takshi...went and checked the backs of my Nav. and SOSF and they are correct...didnt realize the BCE was supposed to have 300M on it when he mentioned this issue so i thought it meant my BCE was incorrect....shows ya what i know... :roll:
