292J V2 from H FAC? "Worth" buying if you have the 292K from H FAC?

Would you buy if you love 292, but only have 292K from H Fac? I love the 292 in general because of its scratch resistance. I love my 292K form H FAC but I always wanted a noob with ceramic crown.

What is a little lost on me: is that it's not clear to me if GEN had PVD crown or Ceramic Crowns? did OP switch with later versions?

When I read ALE's updated review/comparison, I guess the largest difference between Noob and HFAC V2 was the "6" on the dial?

Are case and crown "equivalent" between Hfav V2 and Noob? Maybe I need to read again LOL!

Thank you for humoring me. I love the 292 so much, I am willing to put an OEM/ABP strap on it. Currently i have an OEM asso on it.

When I look at pictures from toro, the H fac Ceramic crown still looks "very shiny" compared to the noob ceramic crown...perhaps its lighting, but I don't know.

H maker has not the overall quality of Noob
Case is improved with better finish and better joining between mid-case and bezel and the new H maker crown is ceramic like Noob and gen
Dial unfortunately is just the same as "old" H maker versions and worse than Noob dial

But you have no alternative ATM

Thanks ALE, re-read your helpful guide. sorry for making you write your answer twice...only I can decide if it's worth it after looking at differences...to me the upgrade would be the ceramic crown.

No one knows but that sounds like wishful thinking. They've been discontinued and out of stock for about 18 months or more.

Seems like there was a decent following for it so wonder why they pulled it. Only bad thing I heard about the 292 was the screws/bar coming loose
