It's a new version from H Maker. It's up on a few different TDs for a few days. There is also a new J Version with Pig

Didn't realized it before and haven't seen Pig version. Good news!

Damn, the cutout of the 6 is wrong!

noticed that too. I still want one though. aside from the 6, how does this look compared to the noob that everyone seems to love?

I am wondering the same as hughesj, how does this compare to the J noob?

It's the hook on the 6. on the gen, it bulges out more in the upper left corner where the rep cuts the corner a little. Very subtle, but it will drive the OCD insane

I have that watch and I must say that one really can't see that little imperfection in "6" in real life. Over all it is a great watch with real gen-like feeling. Mine runs almost spot-on with +50 hours power reserve. Ceramic case is perfect and length of the crowntube is just right. (I've seen noob's J's with too long crown tube). Lug srcews works fine and crown screws in very firmly and reliably, time setting is smooth as well as is winding, text and numbers colour is very good, like in gen and variates from greenish to tan (very light brown) in different lighting... I have no complaints at all.

A few not sou good pics:

of course the imperfection can be seen only in a side-by-side comparison, but it's a real pity considering all the effort they put to replicate this watch!!

:(

This flaw in "6" marker ( less round shape) is the same flaw as previous H maker version and the dial inscriptions are exactly the same as previous H maker

Anyway the case seems improved and very nicely finished

Strange from HF. The 183 dial is ok and it's the same dial mounted on 292, right?

The 183 dial is different. The shape of the 6 is more like the shape panerai used for the 127 and 217 dials.

They actually have completely different markers. "2" and "6" are really different

See two gen pics:

The main flaws in this version then are the shape of the number "6" and the color of the dial inscriptions (white instead of off white), right?

Will wait for V3.... :cool-new:

Yes, they are two different watches. A nice pic of the 183 dial from ViaPaneristi

ALE, do you think this HF 292J or M makes it to your vaunted "super rep" status? :)
