Hi,

Is it easily possible to remove the (quick)date-setting from when pulling out the crown? I'm guessing a watchmaker should do this, my question is just if it's something any watchmaker could do during a regular service?

To explain further: So that the crown can only be pulled out ONE step instead of 2.

Why? I understand some people want to replicate certain functions but this is kind of a step backwards.

Bump!
I am also using a 2824-2 movement for a build that doesn't need the date. Dial doesn't have a date window and I would prefer not having the date setting either.

By what I read on the threads bellow, you only need to replace the Setting Lever Jumper 445. The non date ones have only 2 notches: winding and setting. The 3rd notch in between is the quick date setting which we don't want.

I've heard some people saying that you could use a tiny file and remove that notch, but I can't really see that working, best solution would be to buy the proper Setting Lever Jumper.
