Hello

I need a 2836-2 GMT for my 1675

It is a movement I have never seen live

I find on Alix different types (and prices)

What I don't understand is why some have a small central wheel and others have a large hour wheel, any advice when choosing?

Link, large centre wheel

I just found this amazing item on AliExpress, check it out! 72,58€ 33% discount | 4 hand automatic mechanical movement, 25 jewels, 2836, 3 o'clock date watch for ETA 2836-2 GMT watch

Central wheel (standard?)

I just found this amazing item on AliExpress, check it out! 50,01€ 50% off | GMT 2836 movement made in China, 4 hands, 2836-2 gold-plated with weekly plate + Calendar plate, high precision automatic mechanical movement.

In both advertisements it indicates that it is for GMT (4 hands).

Do you know if there is any difference in quality or anything?

Thank you!

Thanks @Rx4Time

But this is like 2836-2?

I'm a bit lost, I need the handset to fit (I bought handset for 2836), I have never seen this movement before.

Hangzhou is the primary maker of the "Asian 2836 GMT". There is no ETA 2836. Do you know the hand sizes? If for a "2836 GMT " then they should fit.

I ordered the handset from rafflestime, would the GMT's in the links not work for me? The one from helenarou is of better quality I understand.

Link to what you ordered? Hand hole sizes are 90/150/25, GMT hand is 200 on the HZ. Other makers should be the same size.

yup. The 2836 "GMT" is a clever mod by adding a 24h wheel.

From your two links, I am guessing that the first has the mod, the second looks like a normal 2836, but maybe the mod is more subtle

and a super good thread here

one important thing to note is that the ones labeled 6460 have H4 center seconds pinion, and others marked 2836GMT have H6 center seconds pinion.

with the HZ6460, you will need a long tube seconds hand. the other, a regular height hand will suffice.

Doesn't a standard 2836 come with an H4 center seconds pinion? As the 2836 GMT only has some extra parts added (but no added/changed) pinions, I was wondering why the 2836GMT you mentioned would have an H6 center seconds pinion.
