The 26240ST is like the upgraded version of the royal oak chronos like the 26320ST. Similar to how the 15400 was replaced by the 15500/10 but in this case the number scheme decreased.

The old 41mm chrono models after comparing the new versions to them, have extremely clumped together chronograph subdials and the date is also jammed in there lol.

Here is a shot of the new 2023 model that is made from a gen dial and a gen movement. As you can see the newer models space out the subdials in a way that is pleasing to the eye and also get the date window out of the way. If anyone lucky enough to obtain this movement, along with a gen dial is in for a treat!

Yes I said that right, someone made a CNC case for the 26240ST and gen dials are rare but obtainable if you have the money and the resources. I’m sticking with 39mm or 44mm models myself personally.

A few more pictures of the watch. What do you all think? Panic sell the old ugly chronos to make room for the new model?

This is beautiful — thanks for sharing. Gen dial and movement is next level. I have a 26331ST Panda with a gen 1185 movement in a CNC case (hand finished and polished by AMF) and it is stunning.

It’s incredible what folks build based on the info sharing in this community.

New movement is such a beauty, that on particular models (ehm... Code 11.59) it's even better than the dials!

Beauty! Is this the same 2385 movement?

Ah OK, you bought the gen movement and made the case for it. It's not a very cheap operation 😉

It wasn’t me but a modder I know, but I am saying it is possible for people here.

No this is the latest in house chronograph caliber released, and the first time in royal oaks. Previously it was in only 11.59’s.
Is your modder stateside? Does he/she service movements?
I wouldn’t call them my modder because they’ve only sold me parts that they’ve manufactured like CNC cases or dials, And this person is in China.
