I think it is... Although looking at the pictures the movement has some odd features for a Dandong movement:

• The hairspring appears to coil counter-clockwise which is unusual for a DD movement. (red arrow).
• Based on the hairspring coil, I would have thought this was a Shanghai movement, but there's the large top to the crown intermediate wheel that's only seen on true clones of 32xx movements (blue arrow). This feature is not present on the VR3255 (which is based on the VR3235, which has a 31xx style keyless works). So this leads me to believe that this is the real deal -- a true 3255 clone.

Trying to decide between a white gold THB V3, KF or GMF weighted daydate 40mm.
I like the light blue dial but believe that one is platinum in Gen, so even harder to get the weight right.
I also hate the idea of paying more for just extra- or bigger links which could be the case for THB and KF.
So far I'm leaning towards the White dial or Ombre Blue dial from GMF with the A2836 movement unless I see a review that favors the other factories.
I read the A2836 movement is a good movement and don't know, or haven't read much, about the DD3255.

Anybody here have more insights?

It could be, xingpat said DD3255 was in the works in June 2024.
He also said the sh4401 movement was coming and he was right about that

We need to compare yellow gold color in THB vs QF(GMF)

Can someone make sense of this? Did THBF actually upgrade to DD3255 or have we've been bamboozled? The only difference I see is the rotor now has "Chronometer Perpetual" added.
