24mm pam rubber strap

Need advise!
Is it worth buying gen rubber strap for pam? or is the rep strap good enough/close enough?

I also realized there r 2 kind of rep strap. On the back of it one says "made in Australia" and another with "panerai italy" which is better?
I personally think the one with "panerai italy" feels better but i don't have a gen strap to compare.

that shouldn't be the case. the gap on the rubber strap for the buckle is wider on the strap meant for a deployant clasp is wider than the gap meant for the normal tang buckle. also a rubber deployant strap has these 2 "teeth" that hold a keeper in place, and the other end of the strap is much thinner to allow it to be strapped with the deployant buckle.

so no, your rubber strap shouldn't be able to accommodate both a deployant buckle and a regular tang buckle
