ondy, karesz is correct - as a general rule of thump with reps. Regardless of what the dealer says, just accept that they are not water friendly until you make them so.
Some will grease their gaskets themselves and give it a go, while others will have it checked by a watchsmith. This is the only assurance that you can have when it comes to your reps surviving the water.
If you get them checked and approved by a watchsmith, just about any of our reps have the capability of being water proof - at least to some extent.
