243 Noob V2 vs H Factory.

alot has been compared between e V1 & H fact models.

but what about the V2.?

went through about 15pgs of comments&threads. so are the following still valid.?

H-Factory.
- superior lume
- superior xstal.
- canon pinion polished
- case shape wrong.
- CG shape wrong.
- CG lever not flushed.
- 120click bezel.

Noob Factory.
- standard lume.
- canon pinion not polished.
- cloudy xstal.
- everything else rocks.
- correct 60 click bezel.​

That is what I thought also about the V2 noob, but wasn't sure. I was tempted to get Seads H factory to see which one I liked best. If H factories daytime lume is whiter by a fraction, having the two watches to marry would be a thought.

The H factory ultimate version is also superlumed and, while the noob version may be technically more accurate, I am not sure anyone would actually notice the differences unless they were specifically looking for them. I personally wouldn't run to pay the noob premium, where there is a good h-factory version available for significantly less. If the price difference is close, go noob. If the premium for n-factory is big, go h-factory. They are both great reps.

One point I wanted to note is the purported use of 316F steel in the construction of n-factory version. This is a point that is promoted by TD's, but the gen is made from 316L (also used h-factory).

it was an OPINION - ever heard of those ?? I must have missed that memo that forbids stating opinions in PAM section on RWI, sorry ... if that is so, maybe I should really save my donations ...
Let me expand this, maybe you will understand then - In my OPINION there were no detailed comparisons done of Noob V.2 vs H-fac because with V.2 Noob fac eliminated almost all of negative things from V.1 (lume, CP, xtal) - so no one really felt it is necessary to do comparisons. I have a Noob V.2 and can say this from first hand.

BTW: You should really relax a bit, we are not in the army :cheers:

There is no comparison noob is vastly superior now on the 243 v2 ; in the same way their 111 is now the best available

H factory case / bezel construction is all wrong on their 243
Noob model really does not have any flaws
Comparison over right there

FRISTLY: You and all people here MUST FEEL FREE, of course, TO SAY ALL THEY WANT (following the forum rules). I’m always posting and putting threads asking people for OPINIONS.

Sorry if I have seemed rude, it was not at all my intention.

I had put my post because IMHO yours one was not an opinion it was more:
"Noob V2 is so superior, there is really no need to do detailed comparisons"

An opinion would be:
The Noob V2 is better since 1-......... 2-…………. 3-………….. etc… therefore I think it is no necessary more comparison.

I’m trying to make the PAM Section as useful and helpful as possible. Due to that I ask members for concrete answers and opinions as detailed as possible in order to have information useful for veterans and noobs. That is all.

Anyway, many thanks for your contribution to this thread and, please, accept my sincere apologies if you get annoyed by my words.

Fair enough. At the moment, the difference between the H-Factory and noob isn't that much--some TD's are pricing the H-Factory at the same price the N-Factory V2 (those TD's also don't have the N-Factory version available. ). At current pricing, the N-Factory seems to be the no brainer. With the arrival of the N-Factory V2, I would expect there to be a price drop on the H-Factory version, with a new improved version to follow.

I would be interesting to see a breakdown/comparison between the N-Factory V2 and H-Factory Ultimate edition.

I get the fact that N-Factory does a great job on its PAMs (for the most part), H-Factory has picked up their game quite a bit. Look at the 111N comparisons. The N-Factory version might be marginally more accurate, but it is MUCH more expensive. The N-Factory may be technically better, but the H-Factory is by far the better value (IMHO).

anyways, got myself a Noob 243L thru a local deal.. will be posting thots&pics.. if i can get a H factory to compare, i'd compare..

i must say, the sub pams arent my strongest area of knowledge&i'd need some help identifying whether its a V1 or a V2, tho i've been told its most likely a V2.

I would have to find the comparison photos to back up my state visually but the main issue with the h factory model is that the case is not the same construction as the gen
If you look at where the bezel meets the case you can see it looks different between the 2
The h factory also has the wrong number of clicks on the bezel itself
Lastly the crown guard is better on the noob version

These were all discussed and described in pictures on the comparison of v1 models the op is referencing

So that is 3 advantages
Since the launch of the v2 (which was at least 3 months ago btw) I have yet to hear or see 1 advantage of the h factory
Possibly a little better lume, but my noob 243 v2 appears to have genuine sl and the lume is quite good so bit sure even there h would be better

Therefore I conclude noob v2 is better
H factory never came out with a v2 adv since its main issue is the case I don't it will as that would require completely new machining, not a simple change
