226570 Explorer II GMF vs CF - Clean

Hi guys,

I’m building a franken and I want some of your opinions. I just got my CF explorer II and I’ve noticed big differences with my GMF.

Gen parts I will use: DW, Xtal, setting lever and jumper.

All pics will contain CF on the left.

Feel free to leave an opinion but here’s who I think won each category.

Bezel: GMF
Xtal: GMF
Dial: GMF
Hands: CF (although CF has a tall hand stack, I’m not sure if that’s closer to Gen or not)
Case: CF
Bracelet: CF
Movement: CF
Crown: not sure, definitely slightly different
DW: not sure
Rehaut: CF

If I’m missing anything, let me know in comments.

Helpful to see the two main contenders side by side.

Does anyone have any input on the better dial? The CF orange explorer font seems off - kinda blurry or less crisp. Also, the different handstack heights are throwing me off. Anyone have any insight into the correct handstack height?
