Hi just wondering I've had two rolex in 21 j movements both run but after a few mins get stuck where can I buy these movements ? It be a shame to bin them

Are you fully winding them?
Have you looked closely (with a loupe) to see if the hands are interfering with each other or the second hand is rubbing the crystal?
21J movements tend to either run or not. What you're describing sounds odd.

You no something I never thought you had to wind automatics ....how tho when I unscrew it either the hands move or the date how are u supposed to ?
When you unscrew the crown the first position, which you should be in, will be the winding position. The first stop when you pull it is the date change and the second pull is the time setting.
