The 2813 would be.

The DG4813 is high beat, which is not representative of that era but more importantly they don't come with the tall canon pins that are needed for Rolex reps.

The batch from Ofrei have been great here lately too. Spot on at about +/-3-5sec per day OTB.

Yep, I just used one in a throw together Sub a couple weeks ago and with a little tweaking it's been running like a quartz.

Every time I've bought a factory fresh movement from a legitimate source, they always seem to run so much better than what we get in reps. Makes you wonder if the rep companies aren't buying all the ones that don't pass quality control standards.

Man, that's a hard one! Of all the looking I've done I don't know of a drop in that has everything functioning. I'm sure it's out there. Might send Katt a PM asking.

I just bought the exact same DG2813 from Ofrei and put a raffles gilt dial and regular mercedes hands on it. No mods necessary at all?!

P.S. Runs accurate as hell...

I have one of the GENUINE Dixmont-Guangzhou 2813's from Ofrei in my narikaa Rick914 modded 16610LV...3 years on now,,,perfect still and one for the above from Startime and it too is years old and still perfect. I endorse the hell out of these so called "21j's".

I just ordered the 3804b for an old gmt ii from them. I was told by local Smith and form that it was the best choice for a 21j. Rep. And local was the gen dealer. That says something about the quality I think

doesn't matter since it wont line up with a Rolex rep. You'd still need an overlay assuming you're putting it in a Rolex rep.
