Do you guys think how is this 217?
actually, I've rejected it.
But how come still has this batch which with distortion issue?
I thought this issue is gone.....

I think everyone here is very aware of that thread.

You're crystal is perfectly fine, and you rejected in needlessly. There is ALWAYS distortion of the numbers on these models due to the crystal's dome shape.

Defective crystals have a sharp "break line" in the distortion. See this post on the very thread you reference:

I assume you really have rejected already the watch, then this is just an "informative" thread.

I inform you that in the thread you are talking above the QC pics wothout comment are allowed.
This thread is for PAM 127 but it is the same for PAM 217

That said I agree with mvyz that this watch have no radius breaking transition, but the distortion at the base is awful. I had rejected it too.

I think that is likely just to the angle of the photo. So hard to tell with these without photos from many angles or even better: video.

I have this watch and the curvature of the crystal creates huge distortion, I think in many ways it adds to the Authentic look. I think that you either "like" the look and accept it or "don't like" and reject it. There does not seem to be anything wrong IMHO.

As you said this watch has very slight "break line", But is few noticeable in comparison with previous problem. I would accept it. The distorsion looks nice

Personally, I do not like the line break at all. I just got my cheapo 203 from Toro... even that one has a proper crystal without the break. Just buy a WSO crystal, that one is very nice.
