202a assembly

Hi guys,

I just bought an FGD 202a dial and I would like to go all out and build one. However, I have always bought my Pams already built. This will be my first time to gather parts and assemble a watch!

Could you guys let me know how to contact all the guys....DSN, Jakob, Goin?

Any advise would be appreciated.

The easiest and cheapest route would be jackson, I suppose. You can get a case, movement and handset. But if you're going for Gen as possible, then probably not... sorry, its late.

DSN is a TD here. His case back is not bad at all at least while you get the upgrade...

Your best best by far is to buy a 202 from DSN prebuilt.

Swap the dial and the strap. Sell em.

You'll have a pretty nice setup. You can pickup a Jacob CB but I don't really see the need. Once you get the DSN and compare the pictures you'll see what I mean.

YES!!!!! I just built a 203a from DSN. It is awesome!!! I even tried out my build in a noob 360 case and now it's back in the DSN. FOR PVD HE CAN'T BE BEAT! Heres what you need:
-Buy the DSN (sell the dial for $40)
-Buy a cheap 6497 sandwich dial off of eBay pry the backing plate off anf glue the FGD onto it.
-Get some pale white FGD HANDS or some helenarou super lume Pre V hands. The DSN HANDS MATCH THE DIAL TOO WELL!! It doesn't look quite right

You can upgrade to the Jacob case back later. But it isn't that necessary. I have both the DSN and Jakob 203a caseback and I have found the more pictures I study the more I find they are both correct! The Jakobs are more nicely finished and look like one version of the gen, the DSN looks like another. The best thing you can do is the FGD and new hands. You will be sporting a Pre-v Super rep.

As fp wrote, I'd order a 202 from DSN, and Glt wrote, I'd order the hands from Helenarou.
Swap the dial and Hands and sell them.
