I'm looking to maybe sell my grail 201a.... I've had it for some years now and I can't remember the build or even how much I paid for it it was somewhere around 400 I think. I know one hasn't been up here in some time and I want to figure out a fair price before I put it up for sale. It does have a couple dings on a lug and some minor swirls. Runs great. Has a MARIO Paci strap. I think one of the lugs is stripped cause I have a spring bar in for one of the pins with the false screw end. Here are some pics. Any help would be appreciated.

I would advise against selling it for more than what you got for it. If you got it for 400, then maybe it should be a bit less, considering the condition of the lugs and the stripped thread. You do have the Mario Paci strap going for it, which just improves with age.

Maybe our resident vintage experts @kilowattore and @Grimlocktime can chime in on the pricing as they are more familiar with this stuff (I'm more of a modern/contemporary nut :D ).

All in all 400 sounds reasonable to me considering the MP strap. Hard to determine the price of other parts (movement, dial, CG, crown/tube etc.) without some specific close ups that could help determine their source. One thing's for sure: Pre-V PAMs had double screw lugs and lugholes were not tapped.

It looks like you've got a nice build. For sure I see an FGD dial and hands. Hard to tell from the pics, but I might see a T48 crown and Little Hero CG

Regardless, a very nice build. With an Asian movement I'd price it around $350-400. $450 with a Swiss.

Thanks for both of your valuable inputs. :)

nice build, with a noob 111 case modded this can be very close to the gen.

The noob 111 case is the best gen spec luminor case ever made. And it just so happens to have the correct pre-v lug shape. Really awesome
