2012 Dealers Ratings
Hi everyone,
Some of the older members here may remember the dealers ratings I used to run in the past. They provided an interesting snapshot of how our dealers were performing and our level of satisfaction with them. I stopped running them for a number of reasons, but mainly because some members started seeing the ratings as a substitute for researching dealers carefully. I didn't think that was in the interest of the forum. But after careful consideration, and having been asked by our boss if I wanted to do it again, I guess the pros outweigh the cons... I think that the original objectives of these ratings are after all beneficial, and they are primarily: (1) to reward dealers who are customer driven and go above and beyond, and (2) to encourage poor-performing dealers to raise their game.
Ok, a few things to note:
At the end of the poll, I will calculate the score for each dealer and do some analysis like in the past. I will probably use a formula to calculate the results, but more about that later...

Ok, a few things to note:
- The ratings are in no way endorsed officially by RWI. It is the initiative of one member only (i.e. me!) and the aim is to rate your favourite dealers and analyse the information provided by you.
- Like the last time, I am going to use an off-site survey to collect the data. There is a link below that will take you to the survey. You will only be allowed to complete the survey once, and I will stop collecting data when we reach 100 responses.
- You will be asked to indicate which dealers you have dealt with, which ones you would recommend, which ones you would not, and other basic questions. The survey should take about 5 minutes to complete.
- Let's try to keep this fair and honest. Answer the questions honestly and only base your responses on your own experiences. Please take part only if you have already transacted with the specific dealers. Try not to base your answers on hearsay.
- The survey is completely anonymous. But to maximise the fairness of the system, it would be great if after you have filled in the survey you make a quick post here to let us know that you have done so. If the number of survey responses pretty much match the number of posts here, we know there's nothing dodgy going on. The alternative would be to ask everyone to enter their username when they fill out the questionnaire, but I really wouldn't want to do that!
