Was looking for a 200m dive watch with a rubber strap that could be semi-disposable. I looked at a lot of scuba dive boards for reviews. After reading (and reading.....and reading.....) I picked this up off Amazon............. (scroll to bottom for punch line):

For (drum roll please)...................... $16 with free shipping - after $30 credit from Amazon for getting one of their CC's (to be used with my Amazon account). Total bonus.... the reviews from people actually using it to scuba dive are pretty strong - Gotta love the deal (even if you don't love the watch). :D :D :D

Holy shit. That's a damn good looking watch for free LOL. Great buy. Post some pics of it when you can.

P.S. As stupid as this may sound, is the watch second hand?

I should have it this week and will post a wrist shot when it gets here.

Nope, brand new - can you friggen believe that?!?!?!?

If you want one, just search Amazon for the Casio Men's Sea Analog Dive Watch #MDV102-1AV

It will show $46 - then when you buy it you have the choice to get their CC (something I needed to do for a while anyway to have a low limit card attached to my Amazon account). :D :D

P.S. Screw down crown and case back!!!

Nice score, my friend :)

:D :D :D :D :D

Thanks!

I think me gonna likey.

My current beater is the Omega GMT rep. I was thinking of having it waterproofed, but now I don't need to bother.

To my surprise, the watch came today. It is exactly as described on Amazon (and the reviews both on Amazon and the scuba boards are accurate). I normally wear SS straps, so with the rubber I almost forget I'm wearing it.

It has a pretty solid 180 click bezel and the screw down feels fairly solid. I would definately buy it again for either the price I paid, or the Amazon price (I think anything under $100 is fair - higher if buying for the 200m ability).

Enough with the jibber jabber - on with the pics:

Saw-weeet!!! I love me some casio. I still have an original G-shock from 1987..... it still works but has lost all of the rubber coating. It has had a couple of new batteries though

It lights a white LED backlight (a little cheesy but kinda cool looking - still not totally sure how I feel about it).
:D

But if I got 20 years out of $16 watch I think I'd sh!t myself.

Congrats! Fine looking watch. I think my first quartz watch as a kid was a Casio. Good brand...

I'm telling ya - I should get two (in case I really trash this one). Although I could only get the first one for $16 - but $46 is still a deal for any 200m watch. And this one is perfect for the water (which is really why I bought it)!!!!!
