So Panerai posted on ig that they are introduced a few new models. Both 42mm. They posted 1 submersible that looks similar to the 959. The Pam 1209.

And a Luminor lunna Rossa. PAM 1096

I saw it a couple of day ago and I really like Pam1209 Azzurro. I just wish it was 47 instead of 42.
42mm submersibles look like girl watches on my baby size 7.5inch wrist. They look smaller on my wrist than Rolex Submariner.

In for the luna rossa if VSF gives it a good shot. BUT tbh Im kind of fond of the 44mm Luminor size...not sure how I feel about the 42 (even though I have a 959 on its way).

The PAM1096 is not bad due to the carbon dial. This is a nice addition. If it weren't for the red elements, I would want this at 44mm. I don't think about a possible replica anytime soon. I would also prefer to see the PAM1209 in a 47mm case. That would be more interesting than 1389 for me. The blue bezel is more refreshing than the blue seconds. And so, in a 42mm case, this is the 959 version with a simpler dial. Well, they don't put a bracelet on such models yet, otherwise it will go to the Rolex field.

i want both , they are beautiful, even more in 42 mm for my chicken wirst !

i think the 1209 will be very "easy" to rep, VSF have already the parts with the 683, just need the bezel in blue intead of black , and the second hands in steel instead of blue

The have the bezel too, 959 which they rep has a similar blue ceramic bezel?
Also using the parts from the 683, 1055 they could also rep the 973..
But back on topic, this new 42mm sub will be added to the collection once VSF release it!

They can basically release it tomorrow as they have all parts readily available including the blue ceramic bezel from the grey sharkskin dial version...

I know they could release the 1209 since they should already have all the parts, but what are the odds they actually will? 1209 would be an insta buy for me. I really hope they do it.
