OK. Great response from PureTime :

Is the 6 o'clock marker not centered on the 30 of the bezel? Looks a little off to me.

Even a gen might not look better in terms of alignment

Latest update: They sent watch back, and sent new pictures of a different model. The bottom "30" might still be off a little, but the clasp is perfect.

Approved all QC pics! Let's go on delivery.

These folks have been great at Puretime

OK - Received watch, box, cards and papers all good from that.
BUT___

I tried sizing the watch and could not remove link screws. Actually got one stuck ½ in and ½ out. Won't allow glide lock to work. I emailed Puretime with the pictures. I'll let you know result.

SUGGESTION - during QC, have the vendor remove and install all link screws for working order. This one got stuck, one came out a little and would not come out any farther, I was able to get it back in and screwed tight.

that one screw looks butchered. If you needed to loosen the screws, did you try heating them with a lighter to burn away any Loctite? That is supposed to work on stuck screws. Otherwise, if the bracelet isnt sized right ,hope you don’t need a new one.

You can also apply a small drop of WD40 and let it soak in. But what's wrong with the screw in the middle? Screw head is looking completely destroyed?

OK Latest UPDATE -

1) They are trying to order a new bracelet. PureTime is saying apron. 6-8 weeks before they even receive it. I guess I'm OK with that, but I have my doubts this will end nicely, or without additional costs.

They suggested going to a watchsmith, "sure with my $12,000 fake Rolex." If they break anything, they can't repair. That's not an option. They also asked I wanted to return it. Sure, what are the chances of it making it back and getting another. I can see all kinds of issues there.

The middle screw was destoyed as the head came out enough the slot to be exposed. You can imagine the force of the tiny screwdriver trying to move that screw, that just broke off the slot. I tried a covered plier and that's were it stands. No Glidelock usage and the band is too large for me.

I am not sure if I want to try any more screws as they may be also as bad. You can see the 1st screw I at least got it to go back in, it would not come out.

I IMPLORE all to have the QC pics show the screws in and out of the bracelet.

I guess I can buy a cheap replica and cut the links out of this one, at least I might be able to use as desired.

UGH!!!

Fyi : when doing this, if the screw cant move dont force it. If you feel it's hard to turn - then don't. You mangled a whole bracelet by forcing it - if you had patience then you could have just ignored the faulty link instead.

Think about how big your hand is versus how small the screw on a bracelet is. You can apply an insane amount of force to such a tiny object.

Reevaluate and use heat to help it move along. Some WD40 would also help. I also hope you used a properly sized screwdriver. Last resort is to ignore that link and take out every other link instead.

Your reccomendation for QC is insane fyi. To even do that is an extra hour or two of work. If we bill labor at $15/hr you would pay $30 for something trivial. Sometimes you just get unlucky.
