1st time order CTime - Daytona 126500 CF Black Dial

Hello all,
Ordered a Daytona 126500 Black Dial just a few minutes ago. I’ve bought multiple reps from VN before but this is my first ‘real’ clone.
I had a few sleepless nights contemplating which one to get. The white or the black? In the end i decided on the black one to be a bit more stealthier.
Contacted CTime via WA to ask a few questions and all questions were promptly answered.

10Sep - Ordered via website with PP FF as payment method. Email received a few minutes later with details. I asked to add the RWI member waterproof testing for $1. Made payment via PP. Waiting for confirmation from CTime now

Will update when things progress.

Haven’t received an email instructing me on how to use a credit card yet. You mentioned PP and FF in your post. Is PP PayPal? What is FF? I don’t use whatsapp or Wise or any other money transfer services. Do you think I’ll have any trouble? Thanks in advance for taking the time to respond.

FF is Friends and Family. Wise and PP are the easiest. There is a fee of $4.99 I think. I wouldn’t use a CC just for safety reasons, but up to you.

Hello. Like Rr808 mentioned, PP is PayPal and FF is the ‘Friends and Family’ pay option. The other option is ‘Goods and Services’ which may attract another fee. My transaction fee was about $18US all up maybe because of a currency conversion. My card is connected to PP so an extra layer of security through PP.

I would highly recommend installing WhatsApp to communicate with the seller. It’s helpful with questions and follow ups. You also get read receipts and ‘last looked at’ info too.

Same boat as me bro. I had multiple reps from VN that are real shitters. But I recently just bought a VSF 126610LN from another TD here and it is my first "real" or shall i say, "expensive" rep.

My reps from VN aren’t too bad. Only paid $120USD each for them but it’s the errors that get to me that made want to try an ‘expensive’ rep. Hopefully it will be more accurate so I can buy some more.

Omega Moonwatch - chronograph works but wrong configuration. Also battery operated. I think it’s a seiko VK63 movement. Backcase also says seamaster and not speedmaster and the buckle is from an older model.

Daytona 116519 Ghost - chrono doesn’t work but automatic. Chrono hand doesn’t stop at 12 and sweeps in sync with the second hand at the sub-dial at 6. Wrong crown (SS not the WG version-yes… I know it’s SS). Weird engraving on the back case (shouldn’t be one). Oysterflex has no metal in it and also the version where you cut it to size and secure it with a spring bar. Love the look and how it sits on the wrist so will probably buy the CF version of this after (126519 has glidelock and WG plated)

Sub 116610LN - Most accurate of them and my current daily. The rehaut isn’t aligned but who cares. Also the dial is a mishmash of the 116610 and the 126610. There’s a space between the 300 and m which exists on versions of the 116610 but it’s the 126610 version of the ‘Swiss made’ text. Rotor is also noisy AF

Can’t wait to get my hands on the 126500 CF now. But first, I wait for the QC pics.

Aside from the VN reps I was talking about, I did have one real piece, and that was the Omega Seamaster Pro 300m... I bought it because I couldn't afford a Rolex Submariner Date. Now that I have a VSF 126610LN, I actually not surprisingly either, like the Submariner Date from VS Factory better than the genuine Omega Seamaster Pro 300m. Every time I wore my Omega, I look at it and reminds me of why I cannot rock the Submariner instead.

Clean Factory 126610LN was what i was aiming for too. I however told my TD that I bought from, that I don't care if it's a VSF or Clean because they are both the same price and I know I would be happy with either. Both CF and VSF are great. Enjoy your 126500. Hope the QC process goes well for you.
