I ordered last weekend with a CC and at first didn't notice the 8-10% transfer charge to switch currency. I also forgot to include the RWI discount. :\ Damn. I ordered a blue dial 41mm ARF DJ, not the V3 because the bottom crown at 6 0'clock looked a little off in the pictures shown online. Granted, that may just be corrected after QC. I wasn't sure, so I just went with the original even at the same price. If there are other corrections I should be aware of, let me know! I may replace the date wheel as I know it's to big. Anyhow, I ordered on the 2nd very early in the morning and am awaiting for the watch to come in for QC pics. This will be my first watch, and if everything goes well I will order the V4 Daytona most likely. Maybe franken both of them. I sure hope the watch comes in soon, I'm very excited to start this new hobby! Maybe more watches from there! Here is to best of luck!

I will update this post to continue my experience. So far Andrew has replied to my queries fairly quickly. I was told it may be a popular one, so it may take a bit longer.

Hi, what do you mean with "include RWI discount"? Is there any special discount for rwi members?

On the website, I believe on the right hand side I saw a ad for it

I couldn't find anything related to.discount for rwi members. Just the typical discount for paying with WU, Bank Transfert, Bitcoin...and getting coupons if register on trustytime newsletter.
If you find some special discount for rwi members, please send the link to it. Thanks.

Any updates on this?

I received QC pics on the ARF and it looked quite good. However, I've decided I will want to Frankenstein this one and have learned it may be best I get a clone movement. I plan to get a gen dial, hands, crown, and maybe bracelet. If I could fit a 31xx gen movement in it, I'd probably do that too. But for my first one, I think just a dial, hands, crown will be good. Maybe a crystal too.

I received the QC pics on the 10th of Nov. My original order was on the night of the 1st of November. So it took roughly 9 days to get the QC pics.
The order was updated for a Noob on the 10th and am waiting for QC pics. Both of these I believe are sought after and have a little more waiting time. I will update when I get the pics and send them.

UPDATE:

Just received my Noob DJ and it looks pretty good considering what I was aware of. I had the movement serviced before delivery, and the watching winding is not that crunchy and they must have cleaned it at least, which is nice. It took awhile to arrive, but we did switch watch brands mid-way as I wanted a clone movement.

The big thing I noticed. Trustytime sent a QC photo showing 8 seconds +/-, and then it went to servicing. I own a timegrapher and checked the time showing between +8-14 seconds. I decided to adjust it a little, which I've done a few times now, and the small adjusting screw just broke. I didn't put a ton of pressure on it at all, but it broke like it isn't actually an adjuster maybe? That was pretty disappointment so I need to see if it's something I can replace or if I should just order a new movement. Maybe I'll just let it be since now its right around +8/14 which is something I could deal with. Not shabby

Everything else looks pretty good. The crown is incorrect and the datewheel numbers are to large which is known with these Noobs. The color of the blue dial isn't very sunburst, as I have a gen airking sunburst blue color, but everything looks pretty good on the dial itself. The engraved rehaut doesn't look to bad either. The bracelet looks pretty good. It may be just have a little more play then gen, squeaks a little bit, and the edges are a bit rough compared to gen. The hands are just a little rough on the edges, however not that bad. The lume works quite well once "charged", but may not "charge" as efficiently as gen. This doesn't bother me.

I have a new gen datewheel, new gen crown, and was going to get a gen dial. However, I will want the movement sorted before getting that now. All in all it's pretty exciting! Hope to sort out this movement or just let it be and franken this out for fun. Andrew replied to my inquiries in a timely manner, sometimes I just needed to ping him and remind him about me. lol It also took longer than I hoped for. I know there was a reason based on my decision, and he turned back one watch for his own QC. But still, just worth mentioning for FYI.

CORRECTION: The lume is actually fantastic! Maybe longer lasting than gen, and quite bright enough I believe. I did happen to notice the crown on the dial is more different than I thought.. No worries, ordered a gen dial with the gen crown and gen datewheel. Hopefully I can get the crown release inside the movement to work next time I try, for I pushed very hard last time even and it didn't release. I guess worst case I get a new SH clone movement too... :\ Trying to decide what to do next! Either a sub, if there is one so close to gen I don't have to buy any gen parts. I would even be interested in that 1400 dollar gold plated Day/Date if all looks good! Or, do I just do the Daytona franken build, or a Royal Oak with gen dial build....
