Hi,

I got the QC photos the next day but I am not sure if the bracelet is ok.

Is that gap normal?

They said I will receive the QC photos in 3-7 days and they sent me qc in less then 24h.
I am afraid that s a watch that no one wants and they wanna get rid of it.
Am I crazy? I keep looking at replicas and I ve never seen this before.

Consider yourself lucky, you’re (hopefully) getting your money back and you probably saved yourself trouble with a watch you are not likely to be happy with.

I’m going through a similar situation but had to involve PayPal and I said hopefully in that they offered you a refund, but till you see it you may have to go through the same route as I..

@jw7 No way man. We don't do chargebacks just like that here. It's firmly against the rules, unless you're instructed to do so. There is a whole lotta help that can be received first.

Hello,

As I m sure many new members don t really know how to avoid a bad experience (me included) I want to ask you how can we avoid getting scamed and what can we do about it if we are.

I had 2 experiences of this sort:

1. Chazingtime - they sold me a Breitling Superocean Heritage from GF and they sent a cheap OXF watch that has nothing to do with GF. As I already owned a GF one ..I saw the differences in quality and they were HUGE. (photos attached)

2. Hontwatches - I bought an Omega Seamaster 300m (blue) from VSF. The guy on whatsapp was very friendly and helpfull until I told him the QC photos are not ok. After this ..he got mad and said he doesn t want to work with me anymore and they will make a refund. Hopefully they will do that.. for the moment I have no news from him.

As I made more research and showed the photos to more people in this business..they all said VSF does not make that kind of mistakes and probably is a JVSF or another small factory (photo attached). There were two more strange things that I should ve considered: one is the price (328$ shipping and extra rubber strap included) and the second one is the fact that they ve told me I will receive the QC photos in 3-7 days and they sent them in the same day. I may be wrong here but it looked like they had a low quality watch that they had to get rid of and tried to sell it to me.

I ve attached a photo of the breitling comparison (where you can see only one detail but there were many more) and one to see the bracelet issue from the Omega.


What do you guys think?

2. if they refund that's the best outcome for you and them

@jw7 And they are buying from a Trusted Dealer so will get that refund. You're speaking as if they perhaps won't receive one and you are worrying the buyer in the process needlessly because of your experience with a different dealer.

There are channels of help here on the forum. If after a long period of time a trusted dealer is silent and needs their attention drawn to the problem to prompt a refund this can be done. You don't do a chargeback! Blimey!

No, comments are great! I was talking about chargebacks, which are not. I think they can very often be against forum rules is what I'd wanted to explain. There is help here on the forum before anyone takes those kind actions.
