Long time lurker (about 2 years) very first order. I read everything I could get my hands on this forum and elsewhere. Absolutely vital information and super helpful. My experience has been great. Here's the timeline:
[22/10/2024] First contact made with TT (Andrew). Near instant response, multiple emails exchanged. Very helpful.
[23/10/2024] Order placed on TT website for watch and one extra strap.
[23/10/2024] Notified Andrew by email that the order was placed. Received the payment link within an hour. He also sent a separate email notifying me that he provided the payment link.
[23/10/2024] Bank declined the credit card transaction twice and only after two confirmation that this was a purchase that I'm trying to make did they authorize it. Third attempt went through successfully.
[23/10/2024] Sent an email to Andrew letting him know that the payment was successful on my end.
[23/10/2024] Andrew confirmed receipt of the payment within 5 minutes which was much faster than expected as it can take up to 48 hours in some cases.
[31/10/2024] Received nine QC pictures including timegrapher screenshot. Total of 11 images but one was the address for confirmation and another was the extra strap I ordered. Eight photos depicted the watch and one showed the timegrapher numbers. Everything seemed to be in order on the provided QC images.
[31/10/2024] Requested one additional photo of the balance wheel area of the movement because that was the only part of the watch not clearly visible on any of the photos. Andrew responded in about 15 minutes that he will get the requested photo.
[04/11/2024] Received the final QC image showing exactly the area I requested to see. There were no issues. I immediately responded with GL approval.
[07/11/2024] Received tracking information from Andrew.
[10/11/2024] Tracking showed that the package was shipped. May have been shipped sooner but this is when the tracking info was updated to reflect that.
[18/11/2024] Package received with the watch and extra rubber strap. Well packaged, protective styrofoam inside the cardboard box, bubble wrap, and several layers of protective peel-off plastic. The watch is immaculate. Literally no scratches or flaws anywhere on it. Beautiful, shiny, solid build quality and basically indistinguishable from the Gen (as far as I can tell anyway). Ran great on the timegrapher between -4s/d and -1s/d depending on orientation. Absolutely blown away by this watch!
