I am a Canadian living in the UK so transferring funds around the world with Transferwise is no new thing to me. I paid for the complicated shipping service and I thought it would have taken forever but was super quick. I imagined the unit stuck in Suez Canal on that ship taking months to get here. From the Transfer of funds to the arrival of my unit it was 14 days... The QC photos are whatever, the thing looked fine but when I opened the incredibly well sealed up package this thing just sparkles and looks great. I picked the Andrea Pirlo Project Skeleton Submariner SS VRF Best Edition on SS Bracelet SA3130. No idea what any of that means but the thing looked cool and tells the time so I'm winning. Surprised to see the same exact feeling of clasp and weight as my OG sub and the gasket on the crown knob seals just like my other so maybe I can even swim with this? I love the artistic side of what goes into making these replicas too.
