196 strap recommendation

Hey everyone,

I just bought a 196 from Pizanoooooo and it is just awesome. This has been my dream watch since I got into Panerais.

I want to pair it up with a nice brown/tan strap.

That's where you come in - I've seen some pictures of PAM's with tan/brown straps that just kill. Can you guys provide links so I can buy?

Ah, the 196. My favorite watch bar none. My two favorite strap makers for it are:

I have a Carrier and a Copperplate from Micah. I have a Crazy Horse from Greg, and am going to get a black greg with white stitch - which is a really sharp combo on the 196.

Out of these, I would say the Crazy Horse gets the most wear. It's just amazing. Gorgeous, soft, pliable, comfortable. And the greg buckle is second to none. You wouldn't think a buckle could make a difference until you see the greg buckle.

The only gripe I have about the REP SS band is that it does not taper.

The only gripe I have about the GEN SS band is that it is too expensive :lol: :lol:

I have this strap on my wrist at this moment secured to a radiomir 232. It is fantastic. I have two PAV straps that I got two days ago and they are the BEST straps I have and, or have seen. Get them while you can. 8)
