Hi guys,

I'm in love with te 196/250/251 type panerai on a steel bracelet.

I've done some searching around on 3 forums and I think I would like the "old case" version.

Is there any way to get this/identify it?

Does anyone have any comments regarding this watch - should I go swiss or stick with asian? I saw someone posted they had a modified 7750 with NO recessed date.

I almost pulled the trigger on the 250 Angus said that there were two factories making these and he said the newer one was a good choice I may still have to go for it.
