I am wondering... Anyone uses their P.9000 1950 reps on the panerai rubber? I've seen 1950 cases like the 212 on rubber an it looks good. But what about the P.9000 ones? Anyone? Let's see some pics...

Don't shoot me... Here is my KW351 with high re-polishbezel on rubber... It's a 300m watch anyway... I think it looks really cool..
Talk to me about the polished bezel. Did you manage to improve it? How? I love the 351 but that bezel has stopped me from grabbing one.
It was a 48 hour sanding marathon...
First start with 400,600 grit. 800 then 1000,1200,2000,2500. First go thru the sequence with water. Then with soap!
After use polishing paste (a think one first then a thin one) with a Dremel polishing tool.
After use cape cod...also with your dremel(

Either way I won't tire of insisting... The gen bezel is SS... I know, I know panerai site says it's Ti....but the tone is completely different of polished titanium. I have a Ball Deepquest that has polished titanium parts and they do not look like the polished bezel of the gen...
Did it work and did the bezel look a lot better? I asked KW if they could do a special order with a SS bezel but the best they could do was sell me a 312 case for $130 and no one could tell me if I could actually remove the bezel to switch it out.
The bezel looks A LOT better but not like gen because the gen sparkles and is very bright .... Like SS...now i have a perfect mirror but matte...
Yeah, right. Shame you didn't get the perfect result after all that work on it. I really want the 351 but can't decide if I'll wait to see if KW will put a SS bezel on a new batch or not. Oh… And sorry for derailing your thread. You're the first person I've chatted with who tried to mod the bezel.
No derailing... The polish is very fine but it looks like Ti being polished...whit is kinda matte.... The gen is not matte it is very bright color... Certain angles make it look like the gen in the photos but in person is either: a very special kind of Ti that looks exactly like SS while polished... Or it actually is SS...

I never wear my PAM rubbers. I rip them straight off and get leather on them. Don't mind it on a 111 but not sure if it works with this case in the pics but I'm sure it would look different in real life. I wonder what accordion rubber might look like. Actually, the more I look at it the better I like it. I might give it a try and see how I feel about it on a 359.
