18K Bentley 30s Chrono

I am ordering the Breitling Bentley 30s Chrono in 18K in either white or black dial. Any input would be appreciated. :wink:

Does the gen come in a two-tone? I think i've seen a special edition all gold... but never a TT.

I think they, Breitlings, are great watches, very classy, very stylish. I just dont really get what all those extra numbers and graphs do around the bezel? Are they functional? Are they for pilots? To me, it just makes it much more difficult to read the time...Gimme a sub and Im perfectly happy!!

they do have a function in calculating fuel consumption and flight info. Very useful for Pilots that can afford a Breitling and do no want to end up in the middle of say....an ocean :lol:

most pilots that can afford a breitling use flight calculators but they look really pretty.

They are actually circular slide rules, optimized for aviation calculations. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E6B for more explanation. Have to say, though, that when you shrink one of the things down small enough to get it on the outside of a watch it becomes pretty damn useless in most cases... when I had a bit better visual accomodation than I do today, I used the one on me watch mostly to show off. If ya wanna be accurate, ya go for the bigger E6B!
