187g update?

(nevermind, false alarm) 187g update?

so I was on a TD site this morning getting ready to place my 187g order, and i noticed from a week or two ago when i last visited, the text has changed to this at the top of the screen.

Made with Genuine Watch fully dissected for Caseset Construction... 1 : 1 Construction as per the Genuine... [BLINK]New Breed Asian 7753 movement... Exact copy of the Swiss 7753 Movement[/BLINK]... Is there any merit to these statements? I didnt see any noise around an updated 7753 movement and / or changes to the 187 outside of this.

You should know that the 187 was updated at end of last year .. although it wasnt really discussed on forums as most guys didnt realise.. I think most still havent realised

Changes include but not limited to the dial and DW (which involves upgrading the 7753) plus bezel pearl etc

There were some cross over versions at the time and some dealers were still selling the older 7753 versions after Xmas...

But the short answer is yes there ia a better later version of this model

yes, sead mentioned the same thing. I just recently ordered one with him on Sunday, waiting for QC pics any time now.

Yes of course there is an updated versión (I have indeed got one last month) but it is not the link showed by the O.P.

Unfortunately last versión has not corrected yet the colour of hands lume to almost White.

Just remember that OP produced the 187G in a few variations... in deed most G series PAMs have the ambigious details given the changes in suppliers/designs/organisationally going on at the time with OP...which I am sure most already know and will save me going over it again.

Most notably the Pearl on 187 ....

The rep hands issue is simply because they dont load up the stylograph with a variant of the lume required to match the gen... its simply a cost issue and better the hands than the dial lume varies when producing in numbers..
