187 w/ Officine Firenze Black 26/26...I just fell in love!

Alright so I purchased three very nice 26/26 straps from E a while back for a fiddy that is now long gone. I sold one of the straps and still have two. I got a so called "ultimate fiddy" from one of our trusted dealers not too long ago as well. The leather straps have been sitting in my cigar box awaiting a watch and it arrives w/ flaws so it can't be worn until some rescue (Davidsen) parts arrive (dial, crystal, hands, etc) :twisted: .

So I robbed my fiddy of its clasp and put on one of the Officine Firenze straps last night. :evil: Needless to say I won't be taking it back off any time soon!

Here's what you get when you mix a very nice strap w/ a very big EL 187!

That is a great looking strap. It is amazing that watches, particularly Pams, take the character of their straps. Big, Bold, & Beautiful.

Yes I agree! I think the issue I have w/ the rubber strap is it tapers too much. I like the 26/26 straps on the Luminor watches. I like the tapered straps only on the Radiomir models!

But yes the 26/26 is big and bold which is perfect for the 187! I've got a caramel strap that I may install just for a test photo shoot! Maybe tomorrow evening!
