183H Ultimate versus 183H 2013 Version

Dear Ale and other paneristis,

I am wondering which of these I should get, the Ale guide suggests the 2008 model (I would get the sapphire crystal, superlume and cannon pinion mods).

or this 2013 version. Trevor told me it has superlume, sapphire crystal but not cannon pinion fix)

Do I really need the cannon pinion mod?
Are the hands really too close to the dial in the 2013 version?
Any reason for one over the other? (except different strap)

The engraving is much better on the 2013 model. You can always get the cp fixed later but not the engraving.

The CP Problem.

Is it just the pointy centre versus flat where the hands attached?

The 2008 cartel model was my first rep (with all mods from PT), I loved it. For about a couple days, till I have discovered it "fully" myself... Don't do it. Superlume and CP mod is not like if any of our modders or H/N Factory would do it and if you add up all the mods, its rather expensive.

I'd get the 2013 version OR ask Goin if he could get me a proper one. He has a thread on a 183 in the PAM section right away, go and check it!!!

It looks like it has good lume, better engraving, pin fix etc.

Well congrats I deleted the photographs, personally I know these were used to help some people and now they are gone for good because of you.

For me this watch was rejected by the TD and I'm going to get another one. I won't be posting pictures for general opinions but if their are specific flaws I see that I want clarification on I will post them as I believe that is allowed under the rules.
